When you have finished reading through this article you will have some idea of how many articles you should be writing for your internet marketing campaigns and you will have some idea of how to reach this goal.

When I first learned about how many articles I had to write I got very depressed. It was just going to be too much work. How would it be possible to use article marketing to market my websites and follow all the good advice from the gurus? They could not possible be doing this all by themselves. Or could they?

I have found that it is necessary to write a lot of articles and you need to write continuously. As a matter of fact, the consensus seems to be 2 articles each week and this number needs help from some article submission software. But even with this software it means you need to write every week. And that is twice a week. You need to get hundreds of articles out into cyber space for the search engine spiders to be reminded of your website all the time. This seems to be a rather tedious feat. And it is very hard work, or at least I felt it to be extremely difficult work. I had not done much writing before so it was even more difficult.

Not only do you have to research and write good quality articles, you also have to find some places to distribute them. There are thousands of article directories available for you to post articles to and they are all desperate for good quality articles.

A plan is what I needed, and a system that could make my article marketing a habit. If it became a habit I would be more likely to succeed. That meant that if I was going to be consistent with my marketing I worked out that I needed to write 100 articles in a year for each site. Luckily, I did not have very many websites! I knew from past experience that if I stick to something for about six to eight weeks it becomes part of me, it becomes a habit.

I understood that it was important to keep the momentum going. This is the case in life in general. The beginning is hard but once the wheel starts turning it is easier to keep it going. I had a goal and that would be a competition with myself. Could I let myself down?

So if you want to use article marketing for your website you need to send out articles constantly, every week with at least two articles and if you want help, have them distributed using some article submission software. It takes quite a long time to write articles. Why let your hard work go to waste by not keeping the momentum going with a target of 100 articles in a year to make your website pay off.

Set a target for yourself of 100 articles a year for each of your websites. Stick to the plan as it grows into a habit of consistency and
